1. What is your profession and why did you decide to choose this field?

I am an academic, consultant and disability activist. I fell into these disciplines by accident.

2. What is the most rewarding thing about what you do?

Making impactful changes and cultivating peoples’ mindsets through all aspects of my work, whether that be through my career, media and actively raising awareness of the positivity of disability. We need to create a level playing field.

3. What is your advice to all the other VIPs around the world who don't believe they can be successful in the area of their interest because of their disability?

Get out and seize every opportunity that comes your way. I have certainly embraced it. It has led to confidence building to enable you to thrive in life.
