Interview

Condition: Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP)

1. What is your profession and why did you decide to choose this field?

I am a blind visual artist. I chose to be an artist because there was no stigma blocking my path.

2. What is the most rewarding thing about what you do?

The Bang-For-The-Buck I get is the mind's eye view I get from building an image.

3. What is your advice to all the other VIPs around the world who don't believe they can be successful in the area of their interest because of their disability?

It is the best time in history to be a blind person. While it is not perfect technology is making it possible to enter the workplace.
